Courses

I’ve completed (minus a few administrative details) the first set of course outlines for the coming teaching year.

  • LAWS 3907C Legal Research Methods [pdf]
  • LAWS 3907J Legal Research Methods [pdf]
  • LAWS 3005A Law and Regulation [pdf]

Admittedly not very interesting, but all the same.

I feel fine about it right now. I’ve gotten over my fears of teaching before a class – I taught “Law and Regulation” this past winter, so I’m not particularly concerned about that. “Legal Research Methods” is something a little else, though. I don’t know a whole lot about methods as such and even less about legal methods in particular, but then I’m not especially committed to the idea of “method” or “methodology.” Which is likely amply signaled by starting the class off with Against Method. The focus of that course is more on “research” than on “method.” It’ll be alright, I think, it’s a “seminar” capped at thirty-five.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

Also, did the blood come out of our pants? If so, I think we should pre-treat the stains on her bed and throw it in the washer today. A few of the spots are really crusty and gross.
