Only 6 a.m. yet already 75F&#8211;and with at least a month more of temps regularly in the 90s&#8211;but that bit of wind from a direction I haven&#8217;t felt in months, reminded me that my favorite season is approaching, that the time when it is safe to be outside is coming, that a revival of hope and energy is close, and that our planned trip to Big Bend is just weeks away.
